More travel

I'm headed to Santa Rosa, CA during the 1st week in November to train installers on Satellite Internet systems. Any restaurant suggestions are most welcome.

Delay in stimulus bad for Rural WiMAX

Wireless Week reports that the decision by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to delay the payout of the first broadband stimulus grants until December came is bad news for rural WiMAX providers. Since many rural providers were counting on the funds, some planned projects could be jeopardized.

According to the article,"Some of the companies applying for the funds are small, mom-and-pop shops with limited capital resources. Many of those companies have had to put their daily operations on hold to go through the complex application process, while larger companies have had to invest in legal resources and consultants for extra assistance.
